The SAPS Graduate Internship Programme 2025/2026 offers a fully funded 24-month Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity for unemployed graduates in South Africa.
This national skills development initiative, funded through SASSETA, provides structured workplace exposure within various divisions of SAPS. Successful candidates will enter into a 24-month internship contract administered through SASSETA.
About the Programme
The SAPS Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship is designed to:
- Provide supervised practical experience aligned to your qualification
- Strengthen employability and workplace readiness
- Support youth skills development in South Africa
- Offer exposure within critical SAPS operational and support environments

General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Possess a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or NCV Level 4)
- Be unemployed at the time of application
- Have no criminal convictions or pending criminal cases
- Never have been employed in the advertised field of study
- Never have participated in a relevant internship programme before
- Apply for a maximum of three (3) positions
