Requirements
- Qualification allowing registration as Staff Nurse (Enrolled Nurse) with
- Current SANC registration and 2026 receipt
- Knowledge of nursing care procedures and legal frameworks
- Basic communication, writing, and teamwork skills
- Understanding of Batho Pele Principles and Patients’ Rights
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Key Duties
- Measure and record patient vital signs
- Provide health education to patients
- Assist professional nurses with procedures
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and surgical procedures
- Support patients’ nutritional care
- Deliver basic nursing services under supervision
- Follow public service code of conduct
