About the Role
The Wholegoods Administrator is responsible for procuring and maintaining stock levels of construction equipment and ensuring all stock-related administration is processed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth stock control operations.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Office Management Diploma or Certificate
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ goods administration experience within the construction equipment industry
Key Responsibilities
- Place stock orders and monitor stock availability
- Maintain accurate wholegoods documentation
- Circulate stock documentation to sales personnel
- Follow up on outstanding supplier orders
- Assist with stock level maintenance and reporting
- Handle telephonic customer and supplier queries
- Identify slow-moving or old stock for transfer
- Prepare commission reports for processing
- Compile sales and outstanding order reports
- Order equipment according to required specifications
- Control supplier invoices and arrange payments
- Follow up on outstanding payments
- Report stock availability concerns to management
