About the Role

Fidelity Security Services is seeking a motivated and qualified Training Officer to deliver, facilitate, assess, and monitor accredited security training programmes. The successful candidate will ensure all training interventions comply with quality assurance standards, PSIRA regulations, SASSETA requirements, ETDP SETA guidelines, and relevant South African legislation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Valid Code EB Driver’s Licence.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • PSIRA Grades E–A Instructor accreditation.
  • PFTC Instructor accreditation for all firearm categories.
  • Registered ETDP SETA Facilitator.
  • Registered ETDP SETA and SASSETA Assessor.
  • ETDP SETA and SASSETA Moderator registration will be advantageous.
  • Accreditation to facilitate and assess Skills Programmes 1, 2, and 3 (compulsory).
  • General Security Practices Qualification (NQF Level 3).
  • Specialist Security Practices Qualification (NQF Level 4) will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present and facilitate accredited security training programmes.
  • Conduct learner assessments and evaluations.
  • Coach and mentor learners throughout their learnerships.
  • Ensure all training complies with company policies and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
  • Implement approved learning programmes and assessment methods.
  • Ensure compliance with SASSETA, PSIRA, QCTO, Department of Labour, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Support continuous improvement of training standards and learner performance.
