About the Role

FlySafair is seeking an organised and proactive Training Administrator to support the daily operations of its Training Department. Based at the airline’s Head Office in Bonaero Park, Johannesburg, the successful candidate will ensure that all training administration processes run efficiently while maintaining accurate records that comply with aviation regulatory requirements.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong administrative skills who enjoy working in a structured, fast-paced environment where accuracy and confidentiality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all training-related enquiries.
  • Responding to routine queries and escalating complex issues to the relevant department.
  • Monitoring training stationery, manuals and office supplies.
  • Assisting with ordering training materials and printed documentation.
  • Preparing trainee files, induction packs and course documentation.
  • Updating and maintaining electronic and manual training records.
  • Filing training records according to aviation compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining an organised filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
  • Preparing letters, reports, presentations and other administrative documents.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries and correspondence.
  • Recording and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Booking training venues, classrooms and meeting facilities.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and expense claim submissions.
  • Supporting the Training Manager with general departmental administration.
  • Ensuring confidential employee training information is handled securely.
  • Assisting with audit preparation by ensuring training records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinating administrative support for internal and external training sessions.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–2 years’ administration experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Professional telephone and customer service skills.

Advantageous Qualifications and Experience
