About the Role

Eskom is seeking a skilled and motivated System Analyst IT Support Services professional to join its SAP Centre of Excellence (SAP CoE) team in Sunninghill. The successful candidate will provide system and end-user support, monitor applications, perform system testing, and ensure quality management of IT documentation in line with Eskom’s production services offerings and Group IT operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide system and end-user support.
  • Monitor SAP applications and system performance.
  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Execute quality management of technical documentation.
  • Manage and control document management systems.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery performance.
  • Assist with application and system configuration.
  • Support business processes through effective IT solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • National Diploma in:
    • Information Technology
    • Information Management
    • Information Sciences
    • Engineering
  • NQF Level 6 qualification with 240 credits.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in:
    • Systems support
    • Business processes
    • IT application support environments

Required Knowledge

  • Understanding of IT environments and operations.
  • Fault logging systems.
  • ISO 9001 standards.
  • System functional knowledge.
  • ITIL processes and principles.
  • Eskom business processes (advantageous).
