AECI Chemicals is recruiting a skilled and organised Operations Management Administrator to join its operations team in Umbogintwini, KwaZulu-Natal. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced administrators to support senior operations leadership across multiple chemical manufacturing facilities while contributing to operational excellence, governance, reporting, and stakeholder management initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Operations and various plant stakeholders to ensure efficient coordination of administrative processes, reporting systems, operational governance, manufacturing excellence programmes, and communication activities across eight AECI chemical plants.

Purpose of the Role
The Operations Management Administrator will provide structured administrative and operational support to Chemicals Operations Management. The role focuses on coordinating operational excellence systems, maintaining governance standards, supporting executive administration functions, and ensuring seamless communication between multiple stakeholders and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Operational Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Operations Management.
- Coordinate operational activities across eight AECI Chemicals facilities.
- Support operational governance processes and compliance requirements.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining operational excellence initiatives.
Manufacturing Excellence Coordination
- Maintain manufacturing excellence standards and reporting systems.
- Coordinate operational matrices, performance indicators, and tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools for governance and improvement initiatives.
- Track operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Executive and Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate Head of Operations processes, meetings, and business activities.
- Manage calendars, appointments, and executive schedules.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, plants, and business units.
- Support stakeholder engagement and relationship management activities.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare reports, presentations, and operational documentation.
- Maintain records, files, contracts, and important operational documents.
- Conduct research and gather information for management requirements.
- Draft meeting minutes and follow up on action items.

Meeting and Communication Management

Essential Qualifications
