Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant finance qualification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of:
    • SCOA, UPFS, PFMA, DORA, Treasury Regulations
    • Transversal systems: SAP-HIS, SAP E-Receipting, SAP-R3, IMS and BAS
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relations
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer and numeracy skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify supplier payments on BAS
  • Perform supplier reconciliations and attend to queries
  • Clear web cycle transactions
  • Capture sundry payments on SAP-R3
  • Allocate budgets using SCOA segments
  • Maintain commitment register
  • Clear Inter-Responsibility Accounts (IRC) monthly
  • Compile and submit monthly accrual reports
  • Identify and correct misallocations
  • Compile and capture journals on SAP
  • Manage strongroom (issuing and receiving face-value documents)
  • Petty cash replenishment
  • Submission of entity forms
  • Billing of patient accounts and debtors’ management
  • Submit patient accounts to funders
  • Trace outstanding debtors
  • Hand over accounts to the State Attorney
  • Write off irrecoverable debts
  • Perform duties of the main cashier
  • Perform monthly revenue reconciliations
  • Compile IYM reports
  • Perform any other duties as allocated by the supervisor


Required Documents

  • Fully completed and signed new Z83 application form
  • Recently updated and comprehensive CV
