Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Plant Operators with daily production activities.
  • Follow instructions from the Production Superintendent.
  • Perform general plant housekeeping to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Load and offload raw materials, chemicals, and production bags.
  • Support plant operations during manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor production processes after competency has been achieved.
  • Complete production records and documentation accurately.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
  • Comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Work safely in confined spaces and at heights when required.
  • Participate in forklift training and operate equipment after certification.
  • Perform additional duties required by the production department.
  • Work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when operationally required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Mathematics and Physical Science are compulsory subjects.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Medically fit to work in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime.
