As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services by collecting blood and non-blood specimens accurately, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting reliable diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood and non-blood specimens from patients
- Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labelling
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Follow quality assurance and safety procedures
- Handle patient interactions professionally and compassionately
- Assist with administrative and payment-related processes where required
- Promote Ampath’s commitment to exceptional healthcare service
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A recognised Phlebotomy qualification or Registered Nursing qualification
- Current HPCSA registration as a Phlebotomy Technician or SANC registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience
- Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code B)
- Good English communication skills
- Computer literacy and digital administration skills
