What You’ll Do
As part of the Microbiology team, you will:
- Receive and process laboratory specimens accurately.
- Capture and record specimen information.
- Support microbiology laboratory procedures.
- Assist in maintaining quality laboratory standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting processes.
- Help facilitate timely delivery of laboratory results.
- Follow laboratory safety and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to excellent client and patient service.
- Work closely with experienced laboratory professionals and mentors.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must have:
- National Diploma in Medical Technology (Clinical Pathology) OR
- Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Registration with the as a Learner Medical Technologist.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Laboratory Science.
- Valid South African Driver’s License (Code B).
Advantageous
- 12 months of intern rotational training within a recognised training laboratory.
