Purpose of the Role
The Driver will be accountable for the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles while ensuring the effective distribution and delivery of stock to customers and business outlets. The role also includes assisting with logistics, stock control, loading and offloading activities, and maintaining accurate transportation records.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year heavy vehicle driving experience

Licence Requirements
- Valid Code 10 (C1) Driver’s Licence
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver stock safely and efficiently
- Ensure timely deliveries to customers and business locations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before trips
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance issues
- Assist with loading and offloading stock
- Participate in stock counts and inventory control activities
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles
- Complete daily logbooks and transport documentation
- Report accidents, delays, breakdowns, and irregularities immediately
- Adhere to company safety procedures and road regulations
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries
Required Knowledge and Skills
- GPS navigation and route planning
- Map reading and directional skills
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes
- Understanding of farming products and agricultural activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
