1. MANAGER: GRANTS ADMINISTRATION – LEVEL 11

Number of Posts: 2

Salary: R932,292 – R1,098,195 per annum, inclusive of benefits

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 6/7, as recognised by SAQA, in one of the following disciplines:

  • Public Administration
  • Business Administration
  • Data Analytics

Candidates must also have 3–5 years of relevant experience in a Social Security environment, of which 2 years must be at Assistant Manager level or equivalent managerial level.

Key Duties

The successful candidate will:

  • Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance in the delivery of grant administration and operational services.
  • Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance in the performance of Social Relief of Distress (SRD) services.
  • Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance in the performance of Disability Management (DMU) services.
  • Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance in the performance of district BMU and PCM projects.
  • Coordinate, monitor and provide guidance in the performance of Customer Care functions and services.
  • Manage the resources of the Unit.

Key Duties

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide customer care services.
  • Advise customers on policies, procedures and processes regarding the entire grants value chain.
  • Provide general support services within the Unit.
  • Provide Financial and Supply Chain Management services.
  • Provide Human Resources Administration services.
