Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Supply Chain Management Department.
  • Relevant Diploma or Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good record-keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Duties

The successful candidates will perform various supply chain, stock control and administrative duties, including:

  • Updating stock on tally cards VA10 and VA11a.
  • Updating voucher files VA4, VA5 and VA6.
  • Executing issue, requisition and receipt vouchers VA2, VA1 and VA7.
  • Conducting and issuing stock physically and administratively.
  • Registering, costing, issuing and filing requisition vouchers.
  • Capturing external requisitions on the SAP system.
  • Ensuring compliance with Supply Chain Management systems, PPPFA and PFMA.
  • Maintaining effective control of bin cards.
  • Preparing monthly stock-take reports.
  • Ordering stock and updating stock cards.
  • Receiving and dispatching stock.
  • Checking the quantity and quality of goods before receiving.
  • Assisting with asset barcoding and compiling asset information.
  • Managing monthly and bi-annual reports.
