Duties and Responsibilities

The successful intern will assist with various administrative and operational activities, which may include:

Providing administrative and operational support to the Medical Management Unit at Head Office.
Assisting with case management activities.
Helping to consolidate weekly and monthly reports and performance statistics from the five regional medical management units.
Assisting with the analysis of systems used in medical operational processes.
Creating and maintaining databases and information repositories.
Maintaining databases relating to claimants on undertakings, caregivers, service providers, case managers and stakeholders.
Supporting the handling of stakeholder queries and correspondence.
Triaging queries according to priority.
Redirecting escalated queries to the appropriate region or manager.
Supporting the maintenance of regional databases and contact matrices.
Monitoring and tracking turnaround times for complaint resolution and feedback.
Escalating outstanding issues when required.
Assisting with stakeholder engagement activities, meetings and outreach programmes.
Helping to prepare presentations, reports, communication materials and briefing documents.
Supporting communication between Head Office and regional teams.
Assisting with recruitment process administration.
