Job Purpose

The role focuses on maintaining accurate Customer Master data, supporting business processes through efficient record management, processing documentation, preparing reports, and resolving data discrepancies. The position also serves as a key support function for users requiring Customer Master assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Master Maintenance

  • Create new customer accounts according to company standards and procedures.
  • Download account applications and prepare Excel files for bulk account creation.
  • Prepare and format Excel spreadsheets for bulk maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and update existing customer records.
  • Ensure customer data remains accurate and compliant with business requirements.

Call Management

  • Monitor the call logging system for Customer Master-related requests.
  • Respond to logged calls promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide guidance and support to users regarding Customer Master processes.

Customer Master Support

  • Support internal users and business partners.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
  • Provide information and assistance to support business operations.
  • Help users navigate Customer Master procedures and requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / National Certificate.
  • Relevant experience applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes.
  • Fluent Business English.
  • Intermediate computer literacy.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills will be advantageous.
