About the Role

The Wholegoods Administrator is responsible for procuring and maintaining stock levels of construction equipment and ensuring all stock-related administration is processed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth stock control operations.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Office Management Diploma or Certificate

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ goods administration experience within the construction equipment industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Place stock orders and monitor stock availability
  • Maintain accurate wholegoods documentation
  • Circulate stock documentation to sales personnel
  • Follow up on outstanding supplier orders
  • Assist with stock level maintenance and reporting
  • Handle telephonic customer and supplier queries
  • Identify slow-moving or old stock for transfer
  • Prepare commission reports for processing
  • Compile sales and outstanding order reports
  • Order equipment according to required specifications
  • Control supplier invoices and arrange payments
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Report stock availability concerns to management
