What You’ll Do

  • Answer and manage incoming/outgoing calls
  • Transfer calls to the correct departments
  • Provide accurate information to clients
  • Take and relay messages to staff
  • Record outgoing calls and manage telephone logs
  • Print and issue telephone accounts
  • Maintain telephone database and PIN allocations
  • Report faults and issues to supervisor


Requirements

  • Grade 12 (or equivalent recognised by SAQA)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong telephone etiquette
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles
