Discovery is hiring a Receptionist (Maternity Reliever) to support front-office operations at its Menlyn office. This role suits a detail-oriented, customer-focused administrator who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and can confidently support a predominantly Afrikaans-speaking client base.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage visitor access, security boom operations, and exit codes
  • Welcome visitors and provide refreshments
  • Order and manage office refreshment stock
  • Place printer paper orders and compile monthly usage reports
  • Open, lock, and secure the office daily
  • Manage air-conditioning settings and office keys
  • Assist new staff with printer access and office allocation
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative support
  • Manage boardroom bookings
  • Log maintenance issues with landlord/CRES
  • Oversee cleaning services
  • Compile monthly office allocation reports

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric (essential)
  • Administrative qualification (advantageous)
  • 1–3 years’ experience in Administration or Reception
  • Experience within Financial Services (advantage)
  • Computer literacy
  • Fluent communication in Afrikaans
