Old Mutual, a leading African financial services group, is hiring a Personal Lines Consultant in Johannesburg to manage customer service, policy retention, and sales within the short-term insurance environment. This role is ideal for experienced insurance consultants with RE and NQF Level 4 qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end customer experience for new and existing insurance clients
- Provide telephonic and email support on personal lines insurance policies
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and urgent service requests
- Maintain service levels, turnaround times, and QA standards
- Capture and manage customer and policy data accurately
- Recommend suitable insurance products and upsell where appropriate
- Issue policy documentation within regulated timeframes

Requirements & Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Regulatory Examination (RE) – Required
- NQF Level 4: Short-Term Insurance – Required
- Relevant tertiary or insurance qualification (advantageous)
- 2–3 years’ experience in short-term insurance or personal lines
