Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Relevant finance qualification will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of:
- SCOA, UPFS, PFMA, DORA, Treasury Regulations
- Transversal systems: SAP-HIS, SAP E-Receipting, SAP-R3, IMS and BAS
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal relations
- Problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and numeracy skills
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify supplier payments on BAS
- Perform supplier reconciliations and attend to queries
- Clear web cycle transactions
- Capture sundry payments on SAP-R3
- Allocate budgets using SCOA segments
- Maintain commitment register
- Clear Inter-Responsibility Accounts (IRC) monthly
- Compile and submit monthly accrual reports
- Identify and correct misallocations
- Compile and capture journals on SAP
- Manage strongroom (issuing and receiving face-value documents)
- Petty cash replenishment
- Submission of entity forms
- Billing of patient accounts and debtors’ management
- Submit patient accounts to funders
- Trace outstanding debtors
- Hand over accounts to the State Attorney
- Write off irrecoverable debts
- Perform duties of the main cashier
- Perform monthly revenue reconciliations
- Compile IYM reports
- Perform any other duties as allocated by the supervisor
