Mediclinic is looking for a Unit Administrative Assistant to provide effective administrative and operational support within the Critical Care nursing unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general administrative duties within the nursing unit
• Assist with patient administration-related functions
• Maintain and control pharmaceutical stock
• Provide professional reception services
• Capture and maintain accurate information and records
• Support effective patient administration processes

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Computer literacy subjects or an additional computer literacy certificate
• No previous work experience is required

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Training in Reception, Secretarial, Personal Assistant or Administration
• Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment

KEY SKILLS

• Recordkeeping
• Data capturing
• Patient administration systems
• Stock control processes
• Telephone etiquette
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Complaints and compliments management
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
