JOB OVERVIEW
PepsiCo is hiring Stackers (x5) to support its Supply Chain operations in Aliwal North. This role is essential in maintaining product quality, packaging accuracy, and efficient warehouse flow within a high-volume production environment.
You will work on the production line ensuring products are correctly stacked, wrapped, labelled, and prepared for distribution.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Monitor printer functionality and production labelling systems
- Verify correct barcodes are applied to products
- Inspect and confirm quality presentation of packaged goods
- Check pallet condition before loading products
- Record and verify bag weights manually when required
- Ensure pallets are straight, stable, and properly stacked
- Check wrapping integrity and product protection standards
- Identify and report damaged or non-compliant goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area
- Follow strict food safety and health & safety procedures
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Fast-paced manufacturing / warehouse setting
- Standing for long periods
- Team-based production line operations
- May include shift work (day/night depending on schedule)
- Exposure to packaging machinery and moving pallets
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar warehouse or production role
- Basic understanding of supply chain or FMCG environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Physically fit to handle manual warehouse tasks
