About the Position
SITA is looking for a Project Administrator to provide professional PMO and project/programme administrative support throughout the project life cycle.
The successful candidate will assist with project coordination, documentation, administration, financial monitoring and support the Project Manager in ensuring that projects are delivered according to the prescribed SITA project management methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project office coordination and administrative support.
- Assist with project administration, including meeting arrangements.
- Support risk management and issue management updates.
- Assist with quality control activities.
- Provide project documentation and configuration support.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Project Manager.
- Support the execution of projects in line with SITA project management methodology.
- Monitor project financial expenditure and revenue.
- Assist with general project and programme management activities.
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Certificate in Project Management at NQF Level 4.
Certifications:
- PRINCE2 Foundation and/or
- CAPM Certification and/or
- AgilePM Foundation.
Experience:
- 1–2 years’ working experience in a project/programme management environment.
- At least 1 year of project administration and support experience.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Candidates should have knowledge of:
- Public sector or government organisations.
- Information Technology management.
- ICT services.
- Project management methodologies, including PMBOK, AgilePM and/or PRINCE2.
- MS Office and MS Projects.
- SITA Business Planning System (BPS).
- Oracle ERP.
- Project Schedule Management (PSM).
- Oracle Time & Labour (OTL).
