Senior Administrator Job at Discovery – Corporate & Employee Benefits

Discovery Corporate & Employee Benefits is recruiting a Senior Administrator (Dual Scheme) to support Umbrella Fund Operations and Group Risk Billing within its Retirement Funds business. This role is ideal for experienced retirement fund administrators who thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment and are passionate about delivering excellent client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end administration of Umbrella Pension & Provident Funds
  • Group Risk billing, premiums, reassurances, Vitality billing, and broker changes
  • Processing daily and monthly transactions within SLA
  • Contributions, claims, transfers, reconciliations, and credit control
  • Ensure compliance with Pension Funds Act, Tax Act, and Discovery Fund Rules
  • Perform QA checks, data validation, and audit support
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
  • Support process improvement, data quality, and operational efficiency


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Essential)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in retirement funds / umbrella funds (Essential)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Group Life / Employee Benefits
  • Strong knowledge of retirement fund regulations and billing processes
  • Excellent reconciliation, data accuracy, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications (Advantageous)

  • Diploma or Degree (BCom, IT, Mathematical Sciences or related)
  • Industry qualifications: Wealth Management / Introduction to Retirement Funds
