What You’ll Do
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll administration and employee payments across assigned payroll areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately according to company policies and statutory legislation.
- Conduct pre-payroll audits on employee information and payroll calculations.
- Administer the Timekeeper access control system.
- Issue employee access cards and manage time data uploads.
- Generate bank files and process salary payments.
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related queries.
- Liaise with IT service providers regarding payroll system issues.
- Reconcile payroll deductions and payments to third-party vendors.
- Ensure accurate payroll cost allocation to finance systems.
- Maintain payroll records and compliance standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Payroll Diploma
Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in a payroll environment
Required Knowledge
- Payroll processing
- South African taxation
- Accounting principles
- Microsoft Office Suite
