What You’ll Do

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll administration and employee payments across assigned payroll areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately according to company policies and statutory legislation.
  • Conduct pre-payroll audits on employee information and payroll calculations.
  • Administer the Timekeeper access control system.
  • Issue employee access cards and manage time data uploads.
  • Generate bank files and process salary payments.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related queries.
  • Liaise with IT service providers regarding payroll system issues.
  • Reconcile payroll deductions and payments to third-party vendors.
  • Ensure accurate payroll cost allocation to finance systems.
  • Maintain payroll records and compliance standards.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Payroll Diploma

Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a payroll environment

Required Knowledge

  • Payroll processing

  • Microsoft Office Suite
