About the Role

Curro Wilgeheuwel is seeking a Class Assistant Intern to support preschool learners aged 3 to 5 years. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced teachers, assisting with classroom activities, learner supervision, and the day-to-day running of the preschool classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and preparing age-appropriate learning activities.
• Support the supervision, care, and wellbeing of learners.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom organisation and learning resources.
• Perform general classroom administration and daily routines.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, workshops, and school activities.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a willingness to learn.

Minimum Requirements

• Teaching Diploma (NQF Level 6).
• CAPS curriculum experience.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Sober habits.
• Clear criminal record.
• Passion for working with preschool learners.
