Requirements:
- NQF level 4 or 5 (National Certificate or Higher Certificate). Understanding of the legislative framework governing the public service. Knowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety will be added advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy in the following: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for emails. Be able to maintain confidentiality of information in the office.
Duties:
- Capture data from available records into the required formats. Verify query missing data and errors observed during data entry.
- Review and validate all data from the records. Submit data. Make regular backups of data.
- Update registers and statistics. Keep and maintain records and files. Ensure records and files are properly sorted and secured.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers at a data generation point. Compiling and filling statistics electronically and manually. Provide stats of the cases to the Occupational Task team. Provide support to management.
