Purpose:

Provide cleaning services to maintain a hygienic, environmentally friendly university suitable for teaching, learning, and research.

Requirements:

  • Grade 10
  • 1 year relevant cleaning experience
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning duties as assigned
  • Deep clean areas when required
  • Use cleaning supplies efficiently and control costs
  • Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly
  • Follow waste management procedures
  • Set up venues for events, exams, and meetings
  • Identify and report safety hazards
  • Assist with lost property enquiries

Salary:

R178 348 – R209 820 per annum (including benefits)
