The Department of Home Affairs, in partnership with the Public Sector Education and Training Authority (PSETA), invites applications for the 2023 Cadet Learnership Programme.
The programme is part of a Youth Development Empowerment initiative that aligns with the National Development Plan’s idea of formalized recruitment schemes, offering theoretical training and experiential learning.
The initiative provides unemployed South African youth with the opportunity to gain skills, knowledge, and experience, enabling them to take part actively and meaningfully in the labor market.
Stipend: R4 500.00

- Between 18 to 35 years
The Cadet Learnership Programme comprises both theoretical and practical components. Applicants need to complete a signed and dated Z83 Application for Employment Form obtainable from any Public Service Department or Government website (www.dpsa.gov.za). This must be accompanied by a Comprehensive CV and certified copies of the applicant’s Grade 12 certificate and Identification Document.
If an applicant is in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation Certificate obtained from SAQA. Successful candidates will be subjected to pre-employment screening and security checks.
