Our client, a Responsible manufacturer and supplier of chemical products geared towards the medical and Retail industries, is seeking for an accountant to join their young and dynamic team based in Pretoria, Gauteng. Comer 16th Rd & Scale End Rd. Halfway House, Midrand 1685
Job Title: Accountant
Salary: R15,000-R20,000 per month
Job Type: Permanent Senior position
Location: Pretoria Region, Gauteng
Responsibilities:
- Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
- Allocate and post financial transaction details to subsidiary books
- Oversee payroll administration, time and attendance, leave management
- Transfer data to general ledger
- Reconcile and balance all accounts Draw up financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)
- Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
- Track and maintain inventory records Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with audits
- Credit Card & Petty Cash Reconciliation
- Maintaining confidentiality of employee personal information at all times.

Required Experience:
- 2 to 5 years
Desired Qualification Level:
- Degree in accounting or equivalent qualification.
