Job Purpose
The successful candidate will provide inbound and outbound call support to customers, merchants, and branch staff while delivering exceptional customer service. The role focuses on resolving enquiries, maintaining service quality, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
- Make outbound calls when required.
- Assist cardholders, merchants, and branch employees with enquiries.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide accurate information.
- Meet daily service level agreements (SLAs) and productivity targets.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience during every interaction.
- Capture customer information accurately on internal systems.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce and Management Studies or a related qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Computer literacy and ability to work with multiple systems.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Previous call centre or customer service experience.
- Banking or financial services experience will be advantageous.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to meet performance and quality targets.
