About the Role
As a Data Input Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring laboratory information is captured accurately and processed efficiently. Your work will support the smooth running of Ampath’s laboratory operations by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring that important documentation is completed correctly.
You will work closely with laboratory staff and administrative teams to ensure information is processed on time while maintaining high standards of quality and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and update patient and laboratory information accurately.
- Verify data before processing to minimise errors.
- Maintain accurate electronic and manual records.
- Prepare reports, logs, and other administrative documents.
- Assist with filing and document management.
- Support laboratory administrative processes.
- Ensure confidential information is handled securely.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and clients.
- Follow company policies and quality assurance procedures.
- Help maintain efficient daily workflow within the laboratory.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- No previous work experience required.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate in English and Afrikaans.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
