Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling, maintaining, and administering project documentation to ensure full compliance with Eskom’s Construction Services documentation control system. The role plays an important part in ensuring that engineering, construction, and project records are accurate, properly filed, accessible, and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and manage all project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate document registers and filing systems.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with Eskom’s documentation control procedures.
  • Capture, update, and retrieve electronic and physical records.
  • Distribute project documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain document revision histories and version control.
  • Assist engineering and project teams with documentation requests.
  • Ensure confidential information is securely stored and managed.
  • Prepare reports and provide general administrative support.
  • Support quality assurance and audit requirements through proper record management.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or N3 qualification.
  • National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 4.

Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in administrative support with exposure to documentation control implementation.

  • Microsoft Visio (flowcharts and organisational charts)
