is hiring a Production Accountant to join its Boksburg Powders Factory. This is a key finance role within the supply chain, focused on cost control, reporting, and driving operational efficiency.

Job Purpose
The role ensures strong financial control in line with Unilever’s global standards while managing factory finances. You’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while supporting production teams with insights to improve cost efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage P&L and balance sheet for the factory
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance (GFCF)
- Ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting
- Support audits (internal, external, SOX compliance)
- Monitor and control stock, CAPEX, and expenses
- Lead cost optimisation and waste reduction initiatives
- Provide financial insights for supply chain decisions
- Track production performance vs business targets
- Support continuous improvement and automation projects
Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in factory or supply chain finance
- Accounting qualification or progress toward CIMA / CA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/PA) is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
