Administration Support Interns


VACANCIES: TWO REGIONAL ADMINISTRATORS (TEMPORARY)

Location: Gauteng
Contract: Fixed-Term (Six Months)
Monthly CTC Package: R 37 735,66

There are exciting opportunities for two Temporary Regional Administrators within CHIETA. The purpose of the positions is to provide administrative support to the Grants, Projects & Regions Business Unit and other business units within CHIETA. Applicants who meet the requirements below are invited to apply.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Office Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ work experience in an office environment. Experience in a SETA environment will be advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the regional office.
  • Maintain filing systems to improve traceability and retrieval of documents.
  • Oversee the accuracy of SQMR evidence against CHIETA validation.
  • Manage office suppliers and ensure timely procurement.
  • Liaise with the SCM unit.
  • Maintain office records.
  • Manage petty cash in accordance with specified procedures.
  • Arrange travel bookings.
  • Submit travel claims to Finance.
  • Schedule meetings with stakeholders.
  • Support stakeholders during the mandatory grant application process.
  • Support stakeholders during the online discretionary grant application process.
  • Assist the Regional Skills Advisor and stakeholders with all grant-related matters.
  • Liaise with the Grants Unit to ensure that DG payments are made within 30 days.
  • Organise regional activities and events.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required.
