Learnership Overview
This Unemployed Learnership Programme is designed to equip candidates with practical supply chain and packaging operations skills in a factory environment. Learners will receive hands-on training using automated packaging equipment while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and support automated packaging production lines
- Perform pre-start-up checks for equipment safety and cleanliness
- Monitor product and packaging quality standards
- Identify and report equipment or process faults
- Clean machinery according to SOPs and manufacturer guidelines
- Prepare raw materials for production
- Maintain safety and hygiene on the production line
- Complete assessments, logbooks, and learnership assignments
- Support eco-efficient and sustainable manufacturing practices
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (National Senior Certificate) with Mathematics and Science, OR
- N2 / N3 / N4 Engineering qualification
- Must be unemployed
- Willing to work in a factory-based environment
- Able to relocate at own cost if not based near the site
