Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 / ABET Level 4 / Vocational Studies or equivalent
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to communicate in more than one official language
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and relevant legislation
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely from one point to another
- Assist with off-loading patients from private vehicles and ambulances
- Ensure availability and cleanliness of wheelchairs and stretchers
- Assist in the mortuary during weekends, after hours, and public holidays
- Record mortuary temperatures during weekends and public holidays
- Push patients using stretchers or wheelchairs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
