Internship Programme Overview
SANParks invites applications from unemployed South African graduates to participate in a 12-month Internship Placement Programme at Garden Route National Park. The programme provides practical workplace experience to enhance employability. SANParks is under no obligation to offer permanent employment after completion of the internship.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the SANParks Internship Programme, applicants must:
- Be unemployed and between 18 and 35 years old
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6 or 7)
- Qualification must be from a South African public Higher Education Institution (HEI)
- Not have previously participated in any internship or placement programme
- Not have been previously employed
- Reside within the Eastern Cape Province

Accommodation & Transport
Candidates applying outside their area of residence must arrange their own accommodation and transport, noting the monthly stipend.
