Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at Nulaid Sova Packstion(Lanseria) with the following vacancy: ACCOUNTANT II TASK Grade 12 This position will report directly to the General Manager and will also be responsible for providing administrative support to other departments in the same office. The position will be based in Lanseria, Gauteng

Job description

  • Manage, support and train Admin team on accounting systems, policies & procedures
  • Administer control over asset register
  • Manage & maintain control over raw material receipts and issues
  • Manage & maintain reconciliation of weekly & monthly stock counts
  • Manage sales returns, debit and credit notes
  • Analyse and report on financial performance against budget & perform accounting procedures
  • Manage working capital and compile annual ops & capital budgets
  • Reconcile inbound & outbound distribution
  • Release of purchase orders
  • Review accuracy of monthly accounts to ensure journals, allocations and provisions are allocated correctly
  • Maintain unit financial procedures, manage internal financial authorisations, systems and audits
  • Review and sign off monthly wage recons

Minimum requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience
  • Relevant accounting qualification
  • Experience in FMCG environment
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SAGE experience (advantageous)
  • Proven experience in managing a team of Administrators
  • Must be willing to facilitate with weekly and monthly stock take
  • Must be willing to work after hours and weekends, if required
