Requirements :

  • Grade 12 plus Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing. Qualification that allow registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
  • Proof of registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant. Knowledge of nursing care Processes and procedure, and other relevant legal frameworks such as: Nursing Act, Health Act, Occupational health and safety act, Patient Right Charter,Batho-Pele principles, Public Service Regulation, Labour Relation Act Disciplinary Code and procurement

Duties :

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Provide elementary clinical nursing care. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
