South Africa Police Service SAPS offers employment opportunities to citizens as a police officials or civilian. SAPS are currently looking to hire.

PROVINCE: Gauteng

LOCATION: Office of the Deputy National Commissioner: Policing, Head Office, Pretoria

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

POST 1: Administration Clerk X1 Post

REFERENCES: DNC04/02/2023

SALARY: 

R 107 196 per annum

POST 2: General Worker X1 Post

REFERENCES: DNC03/02/2023 

SALARY:

 R181 599 per annum

Minimum Requirements For All:

  • Applicants must display competency in the post-specific core functions of the post. 
  •  Be a South African Citizen. 
  •  Must have no previous criminal / departmental convictions or criminal / departmental case pending. 
  •  Applicants will be subjected to a vetting process which will include security screening and fingerprint verification. 

Additional Post 1 Requirements: 

  •  A Grade 10 qualification will serve as an advantage.
  •  Basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills. 
  •  Be able to read and write. 
  •  The ability to operate elementary machines and equipment. 
  •  Willing to work extended hours when necessary

Additional Post 2 Requirements:

  • Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate Vocational) recorded on the National Learner Record Database on NQF level 4. 
  • Be fluent in at least two of the official languages, of which one must be English. 
  • Degree / Diploma in the field of post will be an added advantage. 
  • Relevant courses in the field of the post as well as valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle will serve as an advantage. 
  • Be willing to work under pressure and extended hours.
