PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To load, unload and stack materials safely and efficiently whilst maintaining our governance and customer service standards.
REPORTING TO: Converting Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Always adhere to Safety and Sanitation rules
- Ensure all equipment is checked and maintained timeously and hygiene rules are strictly adhered to Ensure quality checks are done on inbound and outbound reels and are free of damage
- Ensure that pallets are scanned into the bays when moved Efficiently and stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas in a safe
- manner
- Reporting of damaged Pallets
- Perform picking duties in an efficient manner.
- Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift
- Maintain the 5S and Safety Standard of the Reel Warehouse
- Must always be available when the operation needs you.

KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics
- Valid Forklift Driver License
- Ability to work under pressure •Ability to adapt to change effectively
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good numerical ability
- Ability to converse well in English
- Computer literate
- Must be able to work under pressure and be a problem solver
Required Minimum Qualifications / experience:
- Matric
- Computer Literate • Abaca/CTI would be advantage
