A manufacturing company is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Data Capturer to support daily and monthly financial processing. This is a fully remote, part-time contract role, ideal for someone experienced in Sage Evolution and high-volume transaction environments.
Salary & Work Structure
- Rate: R180 per hour
- Hours: 3 hours per weekday (mornings)
- Extra Work: 2 full days per month for payroll processing
- Contract Type: Independent Contractor
- Location: 100% Remote (Work from Home)
What You’ll Do
- Capture and allocate daily bank transactions for three company entities
- Complete all banking processing by 16:00 daily for management reporting
- Process monthly depreciation accruals
- Post payroll journals to relevant departments
(completed between the 12th–15th of each month)
Transaction Volumes
Entity A
- ±1,470 banking transactions per month
- ±560 debtor & creditor payment transactions
Entities B & C
- ±630 banking transactions per month
- ±20 debtor & creditor payment transactions
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution
- Proven experience in financial data capturing and allocations
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage high transaction volumes
- Fully equipped home office:
- Own laptop
- Fast, secure internet
- Power backup for outages
