We are seeking a qualified, motivated, and goal-driven Care Worker to support patient care and enhance the overall patient experience at our Waterfall unit.


What You’ll Do

  • Clean and prepare dialysis machines before each patient session in line with NRC standards
  • Test dialysis machine alarms before each session to ensure patient safety
  • Support safe and efficient dialysis service delivery
  • Assist with generator checks, maintenance inspections, logging faults, and refuelling
  • Order and serve patient meals according to dietary requirements and NRC procedures
  • Manage stock and waste in line with financial and unit policies
  • Maintain infection control, OHS standards, and a safe working environment
  • Demonstrate NRC values and “Caring the NRC Way”


Requirements

  • Grade 12 (numeracy and literacy)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (renal experience advantageous)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Team player with high energy levels
  • Well organised with attention to quality and detail
  • Ethical, honest, and patient-focused
