Are you passionate about working with young children and creating a positive learning environment? Our reputable preschool is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team on a probationary basis.
Position: Preschool Assistant Teacher.
Salary: R3500
Responsibilities: Assisting the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Engaging children in creative and educational play to foster their social and cognitive development. Assisting with classroom setup, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy and organized learning environment. Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to support a collaborative and nurturing atmosphere.
Requirements: A genuine love for working with young children. Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
