Purpose of the Role

The Admin Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Financing Department. The successful candidate will assist with office administration, client onboarding, FICA compliance processes, document management, and maintaining accurate client records.

The role requires a highly organised individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Administrative Support

  • Performing general office administration duties
  • Managing and organising client documentation
  • Ensuring accurate filing and record keeping
  • Maintaining updated client information systems
  • Assisting internal departments with administrative requests

FICA and Compliance Administration

  • Collecting and verifying client FICA documents
  • Ensuring compliance with Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) requirements
  • Conducting compliance checks and file reviews
  • Identifying incomplete or suspicious information
  • Assisting with compliance reporting and audits

Client Service and Communication

  • Following up on outstanding documents
  • Assisting with customer enquiries
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting client onboarding processes

Financial and Financing Administration Training

The selected candidate will receive training in:

  • Monthly account applications
  • Portfolio account monitoring
  • Financing agreements and quotations
  • Securities and session administration
  • Dividend and grain pay-outs
  • Electronic transfers and cheque balancing
  • Instalment sale agreements and term loan processing
  • Interest and income tax return checks

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
