is seeking a qualified and experienced Utilities Coordinator to join its Head Office team in Bellville. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with facilities or utilities management experience to support sustainability and operational efficiency across multiple school sites.

Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Monitor water and energy usage across facilities using meters, systems and reports
- Analyse consumption data to detect inefficiencies, leaks or system failures
- Compare usage trends across sites and historical periods
- Prepare clear reports with recommendations for corrective action
- Support sustainability and cost-saving initiatives
Reporting
- Generate regular utilities reports covering:
- Water and energy consumption
- Variances and anomalies
- Actions taken and outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of investigations and remedial works
Contractor & Service Provider Coordination
- Identify when specialist investigations are required
- Appoint and coordinate approved contractors or consultants
- Obtain quotations and facilitate procurement approvals
- Monitor contractor performance, timelines and quality
- Ensure proper documentation and project close-out
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Qualification in the built environment (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Facilities, Utilities or Operations Management
- Experience analysing water and energy consumption across multiple sites
- Experience coordinating contractors and service providers
- Exposure to utilities reporting systems, meters, dashboards or BMS platforms
