Discovery is hiring a Personal Assistant to support the Business Executive and sales teams at Discovery Financial Consultants (DFC) in JHB North. If you have strong office management experience and thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment, this opportunity could be for you.

Key Purpose of the Role
The Personal Assistant will:
- Provide executive and sales team support
- Manage office administration and procedures
- Ensure smooth daily operations within the franchise
- Maintain a professional, efficient, and well-organised work environment
Main Responsibilities
Office & Operations Management
- Monitor and order office supplies (stationery, perishables, hardware, incentives)
- Maintain health and safety portfolio
- Ensure office maintenance and arrange repairs
- Manage operating costs according to head office budget
HR & Administration
- Handle HR functions including onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain supervision agreements and asset registers
- Prepare weekly and monthly production reports
- Maintain financial records and cost statements for month-end
Support & Communication
- Provide customer phone and email support
- Backup support for technical and sales teams
- Ensure 100% resolution of staff and vendor inquiries
- Prepare reports and feedback required by Head Office and RGM
- Arrange staff training sessions
- Manage LinkedIn and Facebook pages for the franchise
Technical Skills Required
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Advanced Excel reporting and data analysis
- Strong typing speed and accuracy
- Project administration skills
- Exposure to financial systems (Sage preferred)

Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- Secretarial or related diploma – Preferred
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
- 5–10 years’ experience as an Office Manager or Personal Assistant in a corporate environment
