Role Purpose

To provide prompt, professional administrative and customer service support to the service department. The role acts as a key link between technicians and customers, ensuring efficient vehicle servicing, accurate documentation, and a high-quality customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer calls and emails professionally
  • Schedule and manage service appointments accurately
  • Coordinate service requests with technicians
  • Provide customers with regular updates on service progress
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and warranty documentation
  • Maintain service sheets, job cards, authorisations, and invoices
  • Capture accurate customer information and update databases
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently
  • Support dealership processes to meet industry standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate or NQF Level 4
  • 2–3 years’ experience in the automotive service industry
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience
  • Basic technical understanding (essential)
  • OEM Group South Africa product knowledge
  • Experience operating OEM systems
  • Basic numeracy and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Additional language proficiency is an advantage
